I saw Kellies piece on the Ellen show about her and her friend Summer and it touched my heart. It got me thinking of what more I could do to help find a cure for breast cancer. I generally send in donations every year by purchasing a license plate for my car, and purchasing things that have the ribbon on them so the proceeds go to help. I have even gotten a ribbon with wings tattooed on my arm, that is how much passion I have to help the people effected from this disease. But I wanted to do more this year, Kellie has inspired me to start my own sponsorship. I have pledged to find sponsors to pay $10 for me to shave off my hair on October 29, 2012. My whole adult life has been about helping these women and men who suffer from this disease to find a cure. I have to admit my biggest fear in life is getting breast cancer, and if I ever did hear those words, I would want to know that there are people out there fighting to help me too. My pledge is to get at least $500 in sponsor donations by October 29, 2012 and on that date I will shave my hair off and send in the money along with pictures to the Susan G. Komen foundation. I was wondering if you would like to help me reach my goal by spreading my word and information along. If you will, my information is PO BOX 1081 NEWTON, KANSAS 67114 PH. 316-727-1354 I sure do appreciate your time, thanks!!!
