"SUMMER HOLT MILLER THE HERO I heard the heartwarming story concerning Kelly Pickler and Summer Holt Miller on the radio this am while driving my 3 kids to school. My 8 year old daughter from the back seat said "Mom! Is that the same Summer Holt that's name is in my bible?" It in fact is the same Summer. Kelly Pickler is doing a wonderful thing by standing by her friend but Summer is the true hero.  In 1993 as a senior in High school Summer saw me as a struggling young lady and loved me when not many other people would. She gave me a white Holy Bible that year with my name engraved on the cover. I have got to admit for many years that white Bible sat on my book shelve until about 10 years ago. The bible is now falling apart but my now 8 year old daughter carries it to her Christian school everyday learning of and loving her Lord through the teetered Holy Bible that Summer Holt Miller had the courage to give to a broken teen girl way back in 1993. Summer Holt is my hero. I have prayed for Her many times over the years as I held that white Holy Bible, today I will continue to do so. Summer, thank you for sharing your Lord with me. You did in fact change my life and as a result the lives of four (one will be here any day now) precious children whom are dynamically and radically spirit filled. I will forever be grateful to you.
